40 Acts of Kindness
“Let us treat the children with all the kindness which we would wish to help develop in them.” – Maria Montessori
This year marks the 40th Anniversary of Waco Montessori School, and we are implementing a special series of events in which the entire school can be involved in the celebration. It is called “40 Acts of Kindness.” These acts of kindness will take place throughout the year and be split up between different groups within WMS. The idea is to celebrate and honor our school by giving back and serving our community. Here is the breakdown of the 40 acts:
- 1 School-Wide Act at the Back-to-School Carnival
- 1 Administration/Office Staff Act
- 1 School Board Act
- 1 School-Wide Family Act
- 36 Classroom Acts (3 acts for each class)
Everyone at WMS will have the opportunity to participate and learn what it truly means to help those in need. We are excited about serving the Waco community in this way and teaching our students and families about spreading kindness to those around them. Stay tuned for updates and pictures of the 40 acts of kindness!
