Waco Montessori School Alumni ~ Nathaniel Longfellow

Nathaniel Longfellow- (6th level graduate 1999, WMS's first graduating class) is currently a sophomore at Trinity University (San Antonio) majoring in Communications. He is active in intramural flag football, volleyball, and basketball. He currently serves as Secretary of Kappa Kappa Delta Fraternity and, he is working as a middle school tutor.

He graduated from Vanguard College Preparatory School in May 2005. In his senior year at Vanguard, he received 1st team All District and Honorable Mention at the state level for baseball. He was also honored with the Best Multimedia film award in 2005. He was also a member of the A and B Honor Roll while at Vanguard. Nathaniel was awarded the Presidential Scholarship to attend Trinity University.

Nathaniel reflected on his time at WMS, "Montessori not only prepared me for middle and high school, but it also helped teach me to be a responsible and contributing individual in both school and life in general. It gave me the basic necessary life skills to succeed in life after Montessori school."
